This year, Wings for Hope is proud to raise funds to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a world leader in understanding, treating and defeating childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Why St. Jude?
Since opening its doors in Memphis in 1962, St. Jude has changed what’s possible for children facing the hardest diagnoses. Treatments developed there have helped raise the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and its doctors and scientists won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.
What makes St. Jude remarkable isn’t only its science. It’s the promise it makes to families: they never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. Parents can focus on one thing, helping their child live.
